... when he made her so darn cute. Sometimes it's the only thing that saves her hide.
Chloe has recently learned to climb up on the kitchen table. Tonight, she climbed up and proceeded to RUN across. When I grabbed her just before she slid over the edge (in her footie jammies), she didn't like it at all, so she hit me. Not cool. We decided it was bedtime at that point (it really was already late anyway, but this just confirmed it).
Once she's realized that she's in trouble though, she turns on the charm. It might be wave and a "hi mommy!" or a big hug and kiss. The girl knows how to work it though.
Jeff & I need to hold each other accountable so that we don't cave with the cuteness cause it's DEFINITELY a challenge!
Another random side note: We have these dice that are bouncy and light up and flash when you drop them. She's always been terrified of them. She'd run the other direction when they started flashing. Well, earlier this week, we babysat our friends Jenn & Andrew's little boy, Cole. Cole loved those dice and wouldn't put them down. He kept trying to show them to Chloe, and she'd lean as far away from him as she could. Once he left though, she decided that she loved them and couldn't get enough. Tonight, she was walking around the dining room with her arms up going "dice? diiiiiiiiiice?"
Seriously. SO cute.
