We've all been so sick these past few weeks. At one point, Chloe had a 102.5 fever and was vomiting. We took her to the doctor twice because she was dehydrated and lethargic. Thankfully, she's on the mend, but there was a point where I was sure they'd have to put her in the hospital!
Jeff & I both seemed to be getting better but have since relapsed. This has been going on for nearly a month now. We are so over it!

Chloe's 3rd birthday is Sunday, and who knew she would have such strong opinions on how we should celebrate? We're not doing a party this year, but she's already got the day planned out... she wants Chuck E Cheese, "han-gah-bers" for dinner (hamburgers), and a rainbow cake with chocolate ice cream. Also, she just told me that she didn't want 3 candles on her cake. "I'll just be 5 instead."
I wish I'd known it worked that way. I would've put in a different age request for my birthday last week. I'll just be 29 instead.

Chloe has been sleeping in her tent that she got for Christmas. It's a big blue teepee set up in her bedroom floor, and she absolutely LOVES it. It can't be as comfortable as sleeping in her bed, but she's as happy as she can be when she gets to sleep in there. She has her pillow, her giant moosey, and all of her friends (stuffed animals) in there with her. When we check on her before we go to bed each night, we always comment on how cozy she looks!

"That's ok. I'll just try, try again. That's my motto!" - Chloe
(She says this all the time, but I'm finally remembering to share it. LOL)

We got to go to Sesame Street Live for the 2nd time last week! This time, we went all out and bought the "Sunny Seat" package which included front row seats and a meet & greet with Elmo, Grover, & Ernie. We thought she might be a little afraid, but we were so wrong. She ran up to each of them and gave them big hugs! We'd just gotten our new phones literally just minutes before the show started, so we weren't familar with the cameras. As a result, our pics were pretty bad, but Jeff did manage to catch a cute video. I'll link it here as soon as he's finished editing it!
During the meet & greet, the characters didn't talk (obviously, their voices wouldn't match the "real" character voices"), but the kids were told that they were playing the quiet game. Chloe's highlight was telling Grover a joke (knock knock, who's there? banana, banana who? banana oatmeal & a baseball bat!) Grover slapped his knee and put his head back as if he were laughing, but to hear Chloe tell it, it was the funniest thing and Grover howled. "I told Grover a knock knock joke, and he yaffed and yaffed. He was like hahahhahahahahaahahahaha! We're friends." LOL
I'll just say that she had the time of her little almost-3-year-old life. She danced the night away and enjoyed every single moment.
