Her current obsession is the movie Big Hero 6. Jeff took her to the cheap theater last month to see it, and we ended up buying it on DVD. The DVD copy also came with a digital copy that we put on her Kindle. She's watched it SO many times now, and she definitely has her favorite parts. She calls the movie "Baymax" as that's the robot character's name in the movie. SO cute to watch her develop her little personality and start to find things that SHE likes.

I noticed Chloe was playing with a black string, so I asked her where she got it:
C: I got it from you coat, mama!
me: My hoodie? You pulled that string out of my hoodie?
C: Yeah, see? I show you.
me: Ugh, ok. (sees the damage) Listen, you can't be doing that. Mommy has to fix it now cause you broke my coat. Please don't do this anymore because it's very hard to get it back in, ok?
C: Awwww it's ok, mama! Daddy is a good fixer. He can fix your coat every day, ok?

From Jeff on FB:
It's not often that one of us goes to church without the other, but Libby was pretty sick last week. So like the good husband I am, I brought Chloe with me to church. On the way we stopped at Sam's Club for free samples (yeah that's me making dinner). As we left Sam's, I gave Chloe a mini-sized, semi-healthy, chocolate grain bar of sorts. This is what she looked like when we arrived at church less than 5 minutes later. lol Thank goodness for wipes!

We've been trying to get out more and take walks around the neighborhood as a family in the evenings.

"I love shoes. I wish I could buy ALL the shoes." - Chloe, age 3
This was said in response to seeing these shoes online (which, I had to buy, of course!)

Between daylight savings & staying up entirely too late working last night, I'm a bit of a zombie today. I decided to lay on the couch with Chloe while she watched a cartoon. I dozed off for about 30 min or so, and when I woke up this happened -
Chloe (rubbing my arm): awwww mama! How was you sleep?
Me: It was good! Thank you for letting me take a little nap!
Chloe: awwww you welcome! That was so nice of me!

Chloe: Mama! You got me TWO papers!
Me: I know; I thought you could draw 2 pictures.
Chloe: Oh! Mama, you're a genius!

From Jeff on Facebook:
So Libby is always posting about how smart Chloe is. I thought I'd take this time to share the following: Chloe was making a pattern on the floor with her cars and talking completely to herself she says, "It's a Pattern. Red car, Blue car, Red car, Blue car, what comes next? That's right! Yellow car!" lol
---------------------------
Daddy likes to take Chloe out on little outings in the afternoons so I can work. Here's when they went to Nifty Nuthouse (this was a separate trip from the pic I posted last month! They love this place)
---------------------
I forgot to share these last month. Chloe has taken to drawing pictures... a LOT.
Here's a picture of Mommy (the arrow points to my belly button! LOL)
And her's a picture of daddy. The arrow is pointing to his soul patch. LOL

Chloe usually eats like a bird, so I was so shocked yesterday that I had to send this text to Jeff while he was at work:
Chloe just devoured a full bowl of oatmeal in about 3.2 seconds and said "me have some more oatmeal?" I'm fixing her 2 pieces of toast now. lol
----------------------
She is absolutely smitten with Jonny, our pest control guy. He only comes every other month, but she talks about him ALL the time. She drew this picture last week and said, "Hey mama, are you thinking what I'm thinking? This looks like a spray can! It's like Jonny uses. Jonny's my best friend. He sprays bugga bugga babies. They're so cute & tiny."

Texted to Jeff a couple of weeks ago:
I just told Chloe that we needed to put her panties back on. She said, "I don't want to wear them. I want to be nakey." I asked why, and she said, "i just love my butt." Sigh.

Someone jumped in on my at-home pedi

Sissy got Chloe this Doc McStuffins dress-up set for Christmas. She loves it!

I had a photoboook printed from Shutterfly this week. Chloe had so much fun looking through it with me, and when she ran across this layout, she said, "Awwww! It's my whole fam-in-y!"
