Coffee Milk

I've been on a bit of a Starbucks kick lately (who am I kidding?  I always love a good coffee drink... hot, cold, blended... I'm an equal-opportunity-coffee-drinker).  So, today I took Chloe to Starbucks to get drinks through the drive-thru while Jeff stayed home and showered.

Now, here's what you need to know... Jeff isn't a coffee-drinker by nature.  He has picked up the habit a bit since we've been married, but he still prefers it nice and sweet and "froo frooey."  The last time I went to Starbucks, I got us both Iced Caramel Mochas.  He said it was too chocolately (something you'll never hear a woman say, I assure you.)  So, for today, I had planned to get him a caramel latte, but as I got there, I had him on the phone, and he decided to go for hazelnut because caramel is too sweet, too (again... what?).  So, I ordered him an Iced Hazelnut Latte.

When I tasted his, I knew immediately that he wouldn't like it because it wasn't sweet at all.  So, when we got home, and Chloe asked for drinks of our coffee (decaf), I gave her a sip of mine.  She smacks her lips and says, "Mmmmmm!  Tasty!"  Then she says "Daddy's coffee pease!"  So, I gave her a taste of Jeff's, thinking that she'd spit it out cause it really did just taste like coffee with milk in it.  She surprised me by saying "mmmmmmmm!!  Coffee Milk!!  Tasty!"  I said, "Do you like that?"  She says, "Yes!  Coffee milk yummy!"  LOL

So, I had to pour just a teensy bit of it in her sippy cup (and added about that much milk also so it was really super diluted), and she was so excited to have her own "Coffee milk."

Pretty sure I have the only 2 year old with a Starbucks habit!

And in case you're wondering, Jeff did NOT like his.  So, I added some vanilla cappuccino mix to it and threw it in the Vitamix to make it a little sweeter for him.  He said it was good, but next time, he's ordering a frap!
