I had another great workout at Planet Fitness today. I'm hoping by training my cardio every day that I'll be able to keep up at CrossFit Wichita, but only time will tell. I cannot wait to start going to CrossFit every day after I graduate their OnRamp orientation class in 2 more weeks.
Got a fresh haircut for the dance video tomorrow and went to my Macroeconomics class at night. The best part was when I got home. Chloe was bouncing all around singing daddy, daddy. She was so excited to see me that I just put aside everything I had planned to do for the evening and played with her until bedtime. She had a late nap so at 10pm, she wasn't even tired yet.
Now Chloe loves something called Heroclix. It's a geeky board/dice/strategy/map game with superheroes, villains, etc., but she doesn't care about all that. Her main interest is the little mini figurines used to play the game. I said it was geeky right? It gets even geekier I promise…I keep the little figurines safe in fishing tackle boxes where they cannot get hurt...I mean damaged! lol She is always grabbing one of my tackle boxes and bringing it to me to open so she can touch them. Well last night I decided to play a little game with her using the character cards that coordinate with each figurine. I put 35 figurines on the ottoman then gave her 1 card that belonged to one of the figurines. She would look at the card, look at her minions, look back at the card, wave her little finger over her unsuspecting cronies, then grab one & say, “Yay!” We did this until she couldn't keep her eyes open! We’ll be playing it again tomorrow for sure! Check out the picture for an idea of what I'm talking about.
Well it’s time for bed. I need my rest so I can get my “Khan On” for tomorrow's dance video! Thanks for reading.
